2. What personal data we collect
- Information you give us: your name, email address, telephone number, company and the contents of any message when you email or phone us, or register your interest in our products.
- Technical data: basic information such as IP address, browser type and the pages requested, which is recorded in standard server logs when you visit the Website.

| Keeping you informed about the launch of our products if you asked us to | Name, email | Consent, which you can withdraw at any time |
| Keeping the Website secure and working | Technical data | Legitimate interests (security and administration) |
| Meeting legal and accounting obligations | Relevant records | Legal obligation |
We do not sell your personal data. We will only send you electronic marketing where you have consented or where PECR otherwise permits, and every message will include a way to opt out.
4. Who we share data with
We share personal data only where necessary with trusted service providers who act on our behalf, such as web hosting, email and IT support providers, professional advisers (for example accountants and lawyers), and authorities where we are legally required to. These providers may only process data on our instructions.
5. International transfers
Where a provider processes data outside the UK, we make sure the transfer is protected by an appropriate safeguard, such as a UK adequacy decision, the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or the UK Addendum to the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.
6. How long we keep data
We keep enquiry data for as long as needed to deal with your request and for up to 24 months afterwards, unless a longer period is needed for a contract or legal obligation. Marketing contact details are kept until you withdraw consent. Server logs are kept for a short period for security purposes. Accounting records are kept for the period required by UK law (currently at least six years).
7. Security
We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal data against loss, misuse and unauthorised access. No online transmission is completely secure, so please take care what you send us.
8. Your rights
Under UK data protection law you have the right to:

- have inaccurate data corrected;
- have your data erased in certain circumstances;
- restrict or object to our processing, including objecting to direct marketing at any time;
- data portability where processing is based on consent or contract and carried out by automated means;
- withdraw consent at any time, without affecting earlier processing.
To exercise a right, email legal@gretasoftware.co.uk. We will normally respond within one month. We may need to verify your identity first.
9. Complaints
